Week 29/2026
13th July to 19th July 2026
This week mostly went in meeting people at MS University and taking sessions with the Department of Community and Family Studies. Nidhi and I have taken sessions for this department’s students before as well; it was a good experience. I visited Vadodara twice this week.
This time we have plans to do sessions with all students - BSc students, Masters students, and even Chetan Balwadi kindergarten students. I am going to facilitate five sessions with my colleagues from TIDE:
- Education for Harmony (through nature - project-based learning) (2 sessions)
- Storytelling with Chetan Balwadi students (a graduate student will observe, and I will take one longer session with them on ‘How to Use Storytelling as a Tool’) (2 sessions)
- Sharing my educational journey as a self-designed learner (1 session)
The other part of the week went into office work. I took two days of work from home on Friday and Saturday because of health issues.
I had a call with N about being part of the management of ASSITEJ India (International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People).
On Sunday, we met our dear friend Prerna at a nearby park after a long time - it was fun connecting again. We decided to meet on Saturday mornings to explore different public parks of Ahmedabad.
Next week involves spending 3 days at Gopaldham Ashramshala. After that, workshops at MS University are planned. I want to spend the coming week developing new programs and offerings as part of TIDE.
I am feeling sad and hopeless seeing what’s happening with the protests in Delhi and different places across India.
